Inspired by the Romans, who thought far beyond their borders and were stationed in Valais with the Legion XII Fulminata (Legio Vallis), Vins et Vignobles Julius has planted unconventional grape varieties for Valais. The winery's vision is to use these varieties in combination with other grape varieties to create innovative wines. Traditional and modern vinification methods are combined. The courage to create something out of the ordinary was rewarded with the first wine, Fulminata. A powerful yet elegant Appassimento inspired by the famous Amarone. With the Merlot-Primitivo, Chasselas-Heida-Arneis and Pinot Noir-Lagrein, wonderful and drinkable everyday wines with an international character were created. Wines for every occasion!
