Sessantanni LIMITED EDITION Primitivo di Manduria DOP
Sessantanni LIMITED EDITION Primitivo di Manduria DOP 150 cl
Sessantanni LIMITED EDITION Primitivo di Manduria DOP stands for Apulia’s powerful, concentrated style – now in an impressive Magnum format. It is based on 100% Primitivo from the finest of the old vines, at least 60 years of age. In the 150 cl bottle, the wine develops more slowly and evenly, further enhancing structure, harmony and ageing potential. Meticulous hand-harvesting, temperature-controlled fermentation and ageing for 12 months in French and American oak barriques give the wine depth, finesse and a harmonious balance between ripe fruit and spicy complexity. Elegantly presented in a 1-bottle original wooden box, this Magnum is ideal for special occasions, collectors, or as an expressive wine for long-lasting enjoyment.
Producer: Cantine San Marzano
In 1962, the strength and craftsmanship of 19 winegrowing families came together to found Cantine San Marzano. Wines from a unique region – we are in Apulia, a strip of land between two seas, the Ionian and the Adriatic, lands and landscapes in the provinces of Taranto and Brindisi, where vines and olive trees grow side by side on the typical red soil. The Mediterranean terroir plays a fundamental role in the production of these high-quality and modern wines. The climate is extreme and conditions are challenging. With the passion of the winemakers of Cantine San Marzano, the grapes are vinified into full-bodied and elegant wines. These wines are the best example that good quality and an attractive price do not have to be mutually exclusive.
