Our Story
Three paths, one wine
buonvino was born where three passions meet.
There's my father, who has traded wine locally for years. In that time he has developed a sure instinct for what makes a good wine — and which one is worth its price. From him come the experience and the palate: the foundation everything rests on.
There's me, with a passion for technology and all things digital. What grew locally over the years, I bring online from Davos throughout Switzerland — fast, multilingual and reliable.
And there's my wife, who spent years at home in hospitality. She knows what makes a good moment: not just the wine in the glass, but how you welcome people, advise them and make them feel at home.
Wine, technology and hospitality — out of these three came buonvino.
Curated, not collected
We don't sell catalogues. We sell trust. Whether it's the powerful Amarone from Zenato, the fine elegance of a Sancerre from Lucien Crochet or the Champagne from Louis Roederer: what finds its place at buonvino has earned it. Italy, France, Spain, South Africa — the origin changes, the standard stays.
Behind buonvino there is no anonymous corporation, but a family with a conviction: we only recommend what we'd happily have in our own glass. Every bottle in the range is a decision — none of them by chance.
A short path to you
We work with an established Swiss wine partner who stores your order properly and ships it directly to you — at the right temperature, with care and without unnecessary detours. That keeps the journey short and the wine in the best condition. We deliver throughout Switzerland — whether to Zurich, Geneva or Ticino.
Four languages, one standard: buonvino is at home throughout Switzerland and speaks yours — in German, English, French and Italian.
Rooted in Davos
The mountains teach patience. A good wine matures, a good relationship grows — neither can be forced. We carry this attitude into everything we do. buonvino is rooted in Davos and, from here, open to the finest wineries in Europe.
Welcome. We're glad you're here.
