Côtes de Bordeaux AOC
The history of this Bordeaux winery dates back to 1763. The current owner of the family business and the Bordelaiser Crus, Philippe Mengin succeeded his grandmother Juliette Mengin, who acquired the estate in 1970 and helped it to international renown. Located in the commune of Camblanes-et-Meynac in the heart of Entre-deux-mers, the chateau benefits from its prime soil. What the terroir brings to the grapes is carefully preserved by Philippe Mengin and brilliantly staged in the blends. The winery is advised by none other than the French star oenologist Michel Rolland. Chateau Lafitte shows what can be made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc on about 50 hectares, with a consultant like him. The elegant, finesse-rich wines are an insider tip from Bordeaux connoisseurs!
