Producer: Château Lafitte
Château Lafitte is among the traditional Bordeaux producers, with a history dating back to 1763. The vineyards are located in Camblanes-et-Meynac in the Entre-deux-Mers and are shaped by an outstanding terroir of stony gravel soils, clay-limestone and silica-rich sediments. These soils give the wine its characteristic fruitiness, freshness and balance. The family estate is now run in the long-standing tradition of the Mengin family. By combining regional know-how, modern oenology and gentle winemaking, wines with a clear Bordeaux identity are created: structured, refined and terroir-driven.
