Segen Lagrein Riserva Alto Adige DOC 150 cl

Segen Lagrein Riserva Alto Adige DOC from Kellerei Meran is a powerful yet elegant red wine from South Tyrol. The indigenous Lagrein grape variety shows its dark, concentrated side here, with liquorice, leather, cherry and dark chocolate. Ageing in barriques and large oak barrels for 16 months gives this Riserva structure, depth and finely integrated tannins. In the 150 cl magnum bottle with gift carton, this characterful Lagrein Riserva is particularly well suited to festive meals, special moments of enjoyment and stylish wine gifts.

Producer: Kellerei Meran, Marling

Kellerei Meran was created in 2010 through the merger of the traditional Weinkellerei Meran and the Bruggräfler Kellerei. It is located in Marling, in the heart of the Burggrafenamt area, open to the south and protected to the north by the Texel mountain range. This location creates ideal conditions for many small and very small producers, who together cultivate around 250 hectares of vineyards in excellent sites. Strong temperature fluctuations between day and night produce intensely fruity harvested grapes. The wines of the winery are ambassadors of a fertile landscape on the southern side of the Alps. The new building of Kellerei Meran is equipped with state-of-the-art technology; the wooden barrel and barrique cellar also offers optimal conditions for vinifying characterful South Tyrolean wines with precision, freshness and structure.
