The Chasselas-Arvine-Arneis Vin de Pays Suisse from Legio Julius by Vins et Vignobles Julius SA, Salgesch is a refined white wine that reflects the vibrant diversity of the Valais terroir. Crafted from Chasselas, Petite Arvine, and Arneis, this elegant cuvée unites freshness, balance, and character in perfect harmony.

The grapes are grown in sun-drenched vineyards where Alpine breezes and mineral-rich soils combine to create ideal conditions. Following meticulous handpicking, the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks, preserving the varietal purity and aromatic finesse of each grape.

In the glass, it shines with a pale golden hue. The bouquet reveals delicate aromas of pear, apple, and white blossoms, lifted by subtle citrus notes and a refreshing mineral touch.

On the palate, the wine is vibrant and well-rounded, offering a lively structure and fine acidity that highlight its natural elegance. Petite Arvine contributes energy and precision, Chasselas adds smoothness and depth, while Arneis brings floral and fruity sophistication. Inspired by the Romans, who thought far uber their borders and were stationed in Valais with the Legion XII Fulminata (Legio Vallis), Vins et Vignobles Julius furs Valais has planted 4 unconventional grape varieties. These are Arneis, Lagrein, Malbec and Primitivo. The vision of the winery is to create a novel wine with each of these varieties in combination with other grape varieties. Traditional vinification methods are combined with modern ones. The courage to go the extra mile was rewarded with the first wine, Fulminata. A powerful yet elegant Appassimento made from Valais grapes, inspired by the famous Amarone. With the Merlot-Primitivo and Chasselas-Heida-Arneis, two wonderful and sweet everyday wines with an international character were created. Wines for every occasion!
