Eikendal Vineyards lies a few kilometres outside Stellenbosch, at the foot of the Helderberg. The estate has been owned by the Swiss Saager family since 1981. In addition to its wines, Eikendal also welcomes visitors in Stellenbosch for tastings, dining and accommodation at its lodge. Eikendal combines South African terroir with precise, quality-focused winemaking. The proximity of the Atlantic Ocean, the diversity of the vineyard sites and the Stellenbosch climate shape wines with fruit, structure, freshness and balance.
