The Campaccio Toscana IGT from Arillo in Terrabianca is a structured red wine from Tuscany, vinified from Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The grapes come from the Il Tesoro estate in Valpiana near Massa Marittima in the Alta Maremma. Vinification takes place under temperature control in stainless steel tanks, with maceration on the grape skins for 7-10 days. The wine then ages for 12 months in French oak barriques. Intense ruby red colour, aromas of cherries and plums, liquorice, pepper and spices combine with a full-bodied character, balanced structure, well-integrated tannin texture and a long finish.
