Returns at buonvino.gmbh – clear, convenient, and fair

At buonvino.gmbh, we want your shopping experience to be smooth from checkout to the last sip. This page explains our return policy, timelines, and how to initiate a return. Please note we deliver to – and accept returns from – addresses within Switzerland and Liechtenstein only.

Right of Return (Extract from our terms)

We kindly ask buyers to check the condition of the goods immediately upon receipt. You have the right to return wines within 10 days of delivery without giving a reason. For webshop orders, please send returns to: Cave Amann SA, Weinplatz, Blumenwiesstrasse 6, 9220 Bischofszell. Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer. Once we receive the goods in pristine condition, we will refund or credit the purchase price.

Defective wines & replacement

Wines opened after the above 10-day period that show a defect (e.g., cork taint) can only be replaced with equivalent wines under the conditions set out. Please keep the bottle and cork for quality inspection. Monetary refunds are generally not offered in such cases; we provide a like-for-like replacement instead.

How to return – step by step

  1. Contact us: Notify Customer Service before you ship your return.
  2. Pack securely: Use the original box and protective padding suitable for glass.
  3. Return address: Cave Amann SA, Weinplatz, Blumenwiesstrasse 6, 9220 Bischofszell.
  4. Keep the receipt: Retain your shipment proof until processing is complete.
  5. Refund/credit: Issued after inspection of the returned goods.

Exclusions from return

  • Opened, partially consumed, or damaged bottles (except verified defects as above)
  • Custom or special-order bottlings made specifically for a customer
  • Items returned without adequate protective packaging
