Revolution CA feat. LGI Wines – Modern Wines from Southern France
Revolution CA feat. LGI Wines is a modern wine range from southern France. Under the direction of the oenologists at LGI Wines in Carcassonne, the Revolution wines are produced together with winegrowers from various southern French regions. The focus is on approachable wines with clear varietal character, ripe fruit and a contemporary style. The range combines southern French origins with international winemaking ideas. This results in powerful red wines from the Pays d’Oc as well as fresh white wines from the Côtes de Gascogne. The style is deliberately uncomplicated: aromatic, easy to understand and focused on drinking pleasure.
Origin & Terroir
The Languedoc is one of the most diverse wine regions in southern France. Its Mediterranean climate, with warm summers, together with its varied soils, provides excellent conditions for ripe, fruit-driven red wines. Under the Pays d’Oc IGP designation, regional and international grape varieties can be used flexibly, supporting the modern style of the Revolution wines. The Côtes de Gascogne in southwest France is particularly known for fresh, aromatic white wines. Here, Sauvignon Blanc finds conditions that encourage clear fruit, lively freshness and a light, approachable style. This origin complements the Revolution range with an uncomplicated white wine for aperitifs, seafood, fish dishes and light cuisine.
Grape Varieties & Wine Style
The red wines focus on grape varieties such as Syrah, Marselan and Cabernet Sauvignon. They produce dense, fruit-driven wines with spice, a soft texture and an approachable structure. In the white wine, Sauvignon Blanc shapes a fresh, lively and aromatic style with green fruit, tropical notes and floral hints.
The Revolution wines are vinified in a modern, clearly defined style. The red wines show ripe dark fruit, vanilla, chocolate, tobacco and oak nuances together with a rounded, velvety texture. The white wine is lighter and fresher in style, with gooseberries, tropical fruit, peach and floral notes.
Appassimento-Inspired Style
Revolution Dry Aged Red Appassimento is made using partially dried grapes. This style results in greater concentration, ripe dark fruit and a soft, velvety texture. The subsequent ageing over several months complements the fruit with spice, vanilla, chocolate and delicate tobacco and oak nuances.
The term Dry Aged Red refers to the powerful, meat-oriented character of these wines and their suitability for dry-aged beef, grilled dishes and braised meats. The wines are focused on richness, fruit and a soft structure, while remaining approachable and easy to pair with food.

Appassimento-inspired vinification, partially dried grapes, ageing over several months and ripe dark fruit shape a dense, velvety style.
