Château Coucy Montagne Saint-Émilion AOC is a classic Bordeaux red wine with finesse and charm. The cuvée is made from 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc and is aged in French barriques. The wine carries the “Haute Valeur Environnementale” certification, which stands for sustainable, environmentally friendly wine production. In the glass, it shows an elegant garnet red with ruby reflections. On the nose, red fruits appear alongside fine notes of vanilla and liquorice, typical of Merlot. On the palate, it is well balanced, with soft, well-integrated tannins. Aromas of roses, cherries and delicate spices complete the experience.

Château Coucy is one of the oldest estates in the Montagne Saint-Émilion appellation. From generation to generation, the estate’s methods have been continuously refined. The 20 hectares of vineyards benefit from their southern exposure and clay-and-limestone soils. Exceptionally old vines, consistent canopy management (a specialised vine cultivation method based on strictly scientific principles), as well as the often underestimated winter work during the dormant season, are further factors contributing to the quality of this wine. The harvest is carried out strictly by hand and transported to the winery in small containers of a maximum of 20 kilos for further processing.
