Heritage Côtes de Bordeaux AOC 75 cl
Heritage Côtes de Bordeaux AOC by Château Lafitte is a carefully matured Bordeaux blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine comes from the Côtes de Bordeaux appellation and combines the dark fruit of Merlot with the structure and depth of Cabernet Sauvignon. Ageing in oak casks gives the wine fine spice, length and good ageing potential. In the glass, it displays a dense purple colour with violet highlights. The nose reveals cassis, forest berries, plum, fine spices and a hint of vanilla, complemented by notes of fresh mint, blackberries and wild blueberries. On the palate, the wine is powerful yet supple and harmonious, with soft, balanced tannins and a long, aromatic finish.
Producer: Château Lafitte, Camblanes
Château Lafitte is located in Camblanes in the Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. The history of the estate dates back to 1763. Today, the château is run by Philippe Mengin, whose family has shaped the estate for several generations. The vineyards cover around 50 hectares and are planted on a combination of gravel, clay and limestone soils. For Heritage Côtes de Bordeaux AOC, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are blended in equal proportions. The cuvée represents a structured Bordeaux style with dark fruit, fine spice, supple tannins and clear ageing potential. Consulting by Michel Rolland complements the estate’s precise style, focused on maturity, balance and length.
