Elegant and well structured with harmonious tannins and a berry-driven finish.
Producer: Masseria Tagaro, Locorotondo
Apulia, the heel of the Italian boot, is the flattest region of southern Italy. Vineyards stretch for kilometres and are planted with Italian specialties as well as international grape varieties. It is believed that the name Apulia originates from ancient Rome, where “Apluvia” meant “without rain”, which often applies to this region. This area enjoys a warm, dry Mediterranean climate that allows the grapes to ripen beautifully. The Masseria Tagaro winery is now run by the third generation and is deeply rooted in both the landscape and its people. Their pursuit of tradition combined with innovation results in unconventional wines that delight wine lovers all over the world.
