Pradorey Reserva Finca La Mina Ribera del Duero DO 150 cl
Pradorey Reserva Finca La Mina Ribera del Duero DO is a red wine made from 100% Tempranillo from the Real Sitio de Ventosilla, Pradorey’s historic estate in Burgos. As a single-vineyard wine, it comes from a clearly delimited site within the Real Sitio de Ventosilla. The vineyard lies at approximately 800 metres above sea level and produces a Tempranillo with structure, ripe fruit and a distinctive Ribera del Duero character. The Reserva matures for 18 months in French oak barriques, followed by a further 6 months in a large oak vat. In the glass, it displays a ruby-red colour with golden highlights at the rim. The nose reveals a complex bouquet dominated by ripe fruit and compote notes, complemented by mineral nuances, toasted aromas and smoky accents. On the palate, it is elegant, with pronounced tannins, a complex structure and a powerful, velvety finish. The Magnum bottle is particularly well suited to meals with larger groups, slower maturation and cellaring in its original single-bottle wooden case.
Producer: Pradorey, Burgos
Pradorey is located at the Real Sitio de Ventosilla in Burgos, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. The historic estate comprises extensive vineyards divided into different fincas and individual sites. This diversity allows Pradorey to produce different expressions of the region, ranging from approachable Crianza wines to longer-aged Reservas and Gran Reservas. The estate works with its own grapes and combines the traditional grape varieties of the Ribera del Duero with precise, modern cellar practices. The wines express the character of the region through fruit, structure, spice and the judicious use of oak ageing.
