Producer: Cantine San Marzano
In 1962, the strength and expertise of 19 winegrowing families came together to found Cantine San Marzano. The wines come from a unique region of Puglia, a strip of land between two seas, the Ionian Sea and the Adriatic. In the provinces of Taranto and Brindisi, vines and olive trees grow side by side on the typical red soil. The Mediterranean terroir plays a fundamental role in the production of these high-quality, modern wines. The climate is extreme and the conditions are demanding. With the passion of the winemakers of Cantine San Marzano, the grapes are vinified into full-bodied and elegant wines that combine southern Italian temperament with modern, precise vinification.
