Azienda Vitivinicola Zenato was founded in 1960 by Sergio Zenato in San Benedetto di Lugana on the southern shore of Lake Garda. The family winery is closely associated with the Lugana region and the Trebbiano di Lugana grape variety, also known as Turbiana. The vineyards south of Lake Garda are characterised by clay-rich soils and a climate influenced by the lake. This origin provides the basis for white wines with freshness, structure and balanced fruit. In addition to Lugana, Zenato is also active in Valpolicella, thus bringing together two distinct wine regions of Veneto.
