Producer: Komminoth Weine, Maienfeld
Komminoth Weine is a family-run winery in Maienfeld in the Bündner Herrschaft. The family first produced its own wine in 1980. Today, it cultivates around 4.6 hectares of vineyards across various parcels in and around Maienfeld. Pinot Noir plays a central role, complemented by other grape varieties such as Syrah. Work in the vineyard and the separate vinification of different sites are as much a part of the winery’s philosophy as its respectful approach to nature, vines and soils.
