Grand Cabernet Franc Mendoza 75 cl
Grand Cabernet Franc Mendoza from Alpasión is a single-varietal Cabernet Franc from Chacayes in the High Uco Valley, Mendoza. The vines grow in one of Argentina’s high-altitude winegrowing areas, where intense sunlight, cool nights and the elevation support clear fruit expression, freshness and structure. The 2023 vintage shows the aromatic and precise side of Cabernet Franc: cherries, redcurrants, fine herbal notes, integrated tannins and subtle acidity. Following temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine matures for at least 10 months in French oak barriques. In the glass, it shows a deep cherry-red colour. On the nose, it unfolds an intense bouquet of cherries and redcurrants, accompanied by nuances of fine herbs. On the palate, it is harmonious and structured, with well-integrated tannins, intense fruit, fine freshness and a long, mineral-driven finish.
