Coteis Grande Escolha Vinho Regional Alentejano 75 cl
Coteis Grande Escolha Vinho Regional Alentejano from Herdade dos Coteis is a Portuguese red wine from the Alentejo, vinified from Syrah and Touriga Nacional. The cuvée combines the richness and spice of Syrah with the dark fruit and structure of the Portuguese grape variety Touriga Nacional. The grapes come from Herdade dos Coteis’ own vineyards near Moura, on the left bank of the Guadiana. Following temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine matures for 12 months in French and American oak barriques. In the glass, it shows a deep garnet-red colour. On the nose, powerful fruit aromas of blackberry and cherry unfold, complemented by vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied, richly textured and intensely fruity, with soft tannins, notes of cocoa and spice, and an intense, long finish.
Producer: Herdade dos Coteis
Herdade dos Coteis is located in southern Portugal in the Alentejo, near Moura on the left bank of the River Guadiana.
