Since 1952 Brindisi Riserva DOP 150 cl

Since 1952 Brindisi Riserva DOP from Cantina Sampietrana shows the powerful red wine style of Puglia in a balanced, structured form. 80% Negroamaro and 20% Montepulciano combine ripe dark fruit with spice, substance and rounded tannins. Hand harvesting, temperature-controlled fermentation, 12 months of barrique ageing and one year of bottle ageing give this Riserva depth, maturity and a clear regional signature. In the 150 cl magnum bottle, it is particularly well suited to convivial gatherings, hearty dishes and shared moments of enjoyment.

Producer: Cantina Sampietrana, San Pietro Vernotico

Faithful to tradition, yet always in step with the times. Cantina Sociale Sampietrana was founded in 1952 through the union of passionate and motivated winegrowers in and around San Pietro Vernotico, a small historic town between Brindisi and Lecce. The winegrowing families shared the vision of transforming their sun-drenched grapes into aromatic wines and bringing them directly to the market. By joining forces, they created a winery that has always moved with the times. Today, thanks to their high production standards, their quality philosophy and their innovative, technologically well-equipped cellars, flavourful wines are produced from southern Italian classics such as Primitivo, Negroamaro and Susumaniello. These characterful southern Italians reflect the diversity of the terroir and evoke a longing for the sea.
