SUD Primitivo Merlot Salento IGP 75 cl
SUD Primitivo Merlot Salento IGP by Cantine San Marzano is a characterful red wine from Apulia. This cuvée of Primitivo and Merlot gains structure and depth through four months of ageing in oak barrels. In the glass, it shows a deep ruby red with violet reflections, combined with harmonious fruity and spicy aromas.
Producer: Cantine San Marzano
In 1962, the strength and craftsmanship of 19 winegrowing families came together to found Cantine San Marzano. These wines come from a unique region – Apulia, a narrow strip of land between the Ionian Sea and the Adriatic in the provinces of Taranto and Brindisi, where vines and olive trees grow side by side on the region’s typical red soils. Mediterranean terroir and a sunny, dry climate shape the wines of this area. Cantine San Marzano combines traditional winemaking culture with modern vinification and places great emphasis on quality and origin. The SUD line stands for Southern Italian temperament and Mediterranean flair, offering powerful yet pleasant and smooth styles – everyday wines with character and personality.
