The Vins et Vignobles Les Tourelles estate is located in the heart of Lavaux, directly beside the Tour de Marsens. Chasselas is the region’s most important grape variety within this UNESCO-protected World Heritage vineyard landscape and reveals a particularly pure and expressive character here. The Tour de Marsens is the oldest building in Lavaux (built in 1160). The vineyards surrounding the tower were planted and cultivated by monks more than 850 years ago. The vineyard sites benefit from the double sunlight reflection from sky and lake, as well as from the heat-retaining stone walls. Les Tourelles captures the potential of the different terroirs and produces single-varietal wines that give each appellation its own distinctive personality and character.
