Rosé-Wein

Pale-pink shimmer, freshness and summer: rosé is the charming bridge between white and red – and long since far more than just a terrace wine.

More than a summer wine

Rosé is made from red grapes whose must stays only briefly on the skins. The result is a wine with the freshness of a white and a hint of red fruit. From pale salmon to vivid pink, its spectrum is as varied as its styles.

From Provence to Ticino

Provence is regarded as the home of elegant, pale rosé. In Italy, fuller rosés such as chiaretto or rosé from primitivo are made. Switzerland crafts fine examples too. All share an invigorating freshness.

Our Rosé recommendations

Rosé at the table

Rosé is a wonderful all-rounder: salads, grilled vegetables, fish, white meats and Mediterranean cooking. Fuller rosés even accompany grills and spicy dishes.

Serving it right

Serve rosé well chilled, at 8 to 10 °C. Drink it young and fresh – most rosés are made for carefree enjoyment within the year.
