Adaro de Pradorey Ribera del Duero DO 75 cl
Adaro de Pradorey Ribera del Duero DO is an organic red wine made from 100% Tempranillo from the Real Sitio de Ventosilla, Pradorey’s historic estate in Burgos. The grapes come from selected vineyard sites on the estate and express the Ribera del Duero through ripe dark fruit, structure and fine spice. Adaro de Pradorey matures for 12 months in French oak barriques, followed by a further 3 months in large French oak vats. This results in a full-bodied, balanced Tempranillo with well-integrated tannins, refined oak influence and a long finish. In the glass, it shows an intense cherry-red colour with violet reflections. On the nose, ripe dark fruit dominates, subtly underpinned by notes of new oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied and balanced, with well-integrated tannins and an elegant, lingering finish.
Producer: Pradorey, Burgos
Pradorey is located at the Real Sitio de Ventosilla in Burgos, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. The historic estate comprises various vineyard sites that allow for different expressions of the region. The wines are made from estate-grown grapes and express the Ribera del Duero through fruit, structure, spice and carefully judged ageing. Adaro is dedicated to the founder, Javier Cremades de Adaro, and represents a structured, organically produced Tempranillo with classic Ribera del Duero character within the Pradorey range. Fruit from selected sites such as Salgüero and La Recorba brings ripe fruit, freshness and balance to the wine, while ageing in French oak adds further depth and supports a fine tannin structure.
