Domaine de Longue Toque Gigondas AOP from Gabriel Meffre is an organic red wine made from Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre from Gigondas in the southern Rhône Valley. The grapes come from different vineyard sites in the Dentelles de Montmirail and grow on sandy marl soils as well as soils characterised by limestone and marl. Following hand harvesting and gentle vinification, the wine is aged for 19 months, including 16 months in oak. Raspberries and blackberries define the aromatic profile, accompanied by a hint of cedarwood. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with ripe red fruit and velvety tannins.
