A mature single-vineyard interpretation that clearly reflects origin, craftsmanship and the pannonian style of the region.
Producer: Weingut Böheim
Weingut Böheim lies in the heart of the Carnuntum wine region, in the Arbesthal hills. The climatic conditions here are ideal for viticulture. Sandy loam soils, gravel and loess together with the pannonian microclimate provide optimal conditions. With more than 2000 hours of annual sunshine, strict yield control and high vinification standards, the estate produces elegant white wines and rich, powerful red wines. The wines enjoy a high reputation and are highly praised in the Austrian wine magazine Falstaff.
Carnuntum, located east of Vienna between the Danube and the Leitha mountains, is regarded as one of Austria's most distinctive red wine regions. The warm pannonian climate and the varied soils give the wines power, ripeness and spice – qualities clearly expressed in the Ried Stuhlwerker Carnuntum DAC.
