Château de Pierreux blanc Beaujolais-Villages AOC is an elegant white wine from the southern Beaujolais that combines the freshness and finesse of the Chardonnay grape with a refined structure. The nose reveals floral notes and delicate fruit aromas. Located in the southernmost and largest “Cru du Beaujolais”, the impressive Château de Pierreux dates back to the 13th century. The estate lies opposite Mont Brouilly in the middle of a beautiful vineyard landscape. Around 250 hectares of land surround the château, including about 190 hectares of vines, producing wines that authentically reflect the terroir of Beaujolais. Since 2005 the château has been owned by the Boisset family, who carefully restored and modernised the historic estate. The wines are produced according to biodynamic principles and express the typical elegance and character of the Beaujolais region.
